I am both thrilled and honored to be the cover story for the November 2015 issue of Wichita’s SPLURGE! magazine. My wife and I have been avid readers of this magazine for many years, and it was indeed a thrill to be asked by Jody Klein for an interview for this month’s cover story. Curtis The Mentalist

Curtis Waltermire is an American speaker, mentalist, entertainer, actor, and businessman. He's also a former pastor and Christian minister, who spent many years in Christian ministry in his younger days and taught in a private seminary for a few years. Over the past 15 years, he's been billed as a professional comedy "mentalist, magician, speaker, actor, U.S. Army veteran, grandpa, cool dad and above-average husband," which has been in his signature for years--even before the "grandpa" part. In the last few years he's added "podcaster" and "content creator" to the list. Today he and his wife enjoy life as empty-nesters, traveling, entertaining and speaking at events all throughout the United States in addition to creating online content. He's been married to the same wonderful woman for 32 years, raised two wonderful girls, has 1.5 sons-in-law and by the grace of God maintains his sanity in a culture that seems to be losing it's mind.
