I enjoy making various television appearances, and really appreciate how kind, welcoming, and fun my hosts usually are. Most of my TV appearances are done in conjunction with charity fundraising events that I am providing entertainment for, as a way of helping promote the cause and giving the guests a teaser of some of the entertainment that is to come for each event.
I'm very thankful for the recent opportunity to appear once again with Alyson Acklin on her new show at 4:00 p.m. on Wichita's KAKE-TV, along with her co-host Greg Miller. I had fun demonstrating some intuitive mind-reading, and testing their abilities to convey their thoughts one to another.
Watch their reactions when I tell Alyson an exact word that she is thinking.
I appeared on the show to promote my show for an upcoming fundraiser to benefit the Kansas Honor Flight. For those that don't know, the KHF sends aging WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War military veterans on an all-expense paid, three-day trip from Wichita to Washington, D.C., to view their various war memorials, participate in ceremonies, and various other activities. For many vets they claim it is the "experience of a lifetime." They are then honored with a huge "Heroes Welcome Home" ceremony upon their arrival back at Wichita's Dwight D. Eisenhower airport, usually with hundreds of friends, family members, and Kansas citizens in attendance.
